Marsen Pressure monitoring system for Cargo hold and cargo pump Model: VIP 2000
General introduction
The pressure monitoring system is designed to monitor the pressure of cargo tunnels or branch pipes. The system will continuously monitor the tunnel pressure including high and low pressure alarms required by IMO SOLAR 74, Chap. II Reg came into effect on 1 July 1998 to prevent severe deformation of the cargo tunnel structure due to changes in bunker pressure due to the damage of P/V valves.
Characteristics and features
- High precision
- Can be installed for multiple cargo tunnels
- There are 2 types of cave tunnel pressure monitoring or branching pipes
- Single type
- Set type
Application
Applicable to all oil/chemical containers
Structure and principle of operation of the system
VIP – 2000 includes pressure gauges, control cabinets to monitor measured values through cabinet-mounted touch screens and explosion-room isolation. The pressure gauge is measured using a semiconductor sensor. The electrical signal from the pressure gauge is connected to the isolater. The signal is then sent to the control cabinet equipped with pressure indicator, horn and LCD screen in the system control room (CCR cargo room). If the ship owner wants to install additional temperature measurement functions that can be further integrated.
