What is a VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) gas detector? Gas detector use PID sensor to detect and measure the concentration of volatile organic gases. The most popular applications in Vietnam are factories producing electronic components or leather shoes. VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) gas detector can be classified into 3 types:

PID Single Gas detector: This equipment can measure Volatile Organic Compound by diffusion method (the detector is not integrated suction pump). Typically Model ToxiRAE Pro PID
Multi-Gas detector PID: This series has 1 position with PID sensor and can integrate suction pump for remote measurement. Typical: GasAlertMicro 5 PID or MultiRAE Lite PID
Professional VOC gas detector: Are high-end VOC detector. They are manufactured exclusively for VOC measurement with high accuracy and resolution (at the level of the billionth part). Electronics and leather shoes often use this type. Typical models: MiniRAE Lite, MiniRAE 3000, ppbRAE 3000.
