Honeywell Tanksystem’s HERMetic UTImeter Gtex oil gauge is an airtight liquid level measuring device designed to measure levels in closed tanks that can contain petroleum vapors or chemicals. Ensure safety and efficiency during onboard level measurement, transfer tanks, temperature and water oil list on board. HERMetic and MMC are the two best rulers at the moment.
The HERMetic UTImeter Gtex oil gauge consists of 3 main measurement functions:
- Measure liquid levels (oil, water, or chemicals) – Ullage
- Temperature determination and testing – Temperature
- Identifying the boundary between oil and water – Oil/Water interface
- Commonly referred to as UTI rulers
HERMetic UTImeter Gtex consists of 4 versions:
- HERMetic UTImeter Gtex with 1-inch measuring head, and FKM airtight unit used for measurements in Hydrocarbon gas tanks/tanks
- HERMetic UTImeter Gtex Chem with 1-inch measuring head, enclosed with FFKM seal unit and this ruler is especially used for corrosive liquids
- HERMetic UTImeter Gtex Visc or HERMetic UTImeter Gtex Chem Visc with 2-inch measuring head, recommended for high viscosity liquids
