As required by SOLAS, the cargo bunker needs to be equipped with smoke detectors in the cargo cellar to monitor the possibility of explosions that may occur. When a fire occurs, the suction pump block will suck smoke that arises through the pipeline system and the system of cross valves. When the amount of smoke reaches the pre-set value, the main alarm will work and at the same time transmit the signal to the cockpit so that the crew can respond in a timely manner.
