Pump Chamber Gas Monitoring System
Model: GAS-200
General introduction
The IMO strengthens safety measures because of frequent explosion incidents in the pumping chambers of oil tankers. Gas-200 is designed according to 2000 SOLAS standards. It can monitor hydrocarbon/oxi gas concentrations and give alarms
- For continuous monitoring of hydrocarbon gas concentrations
- Easy installation of sampling points and probes in appropriate locations
- Easy to activate sound and image alarms in the pump chamber, technical control room, CCR and cockpit, when the gas concentration reaches the set level (less than 10% LEL)
Characteristics and features
- High-reliability and precision gas measurement sensor
- Long sensor life
- Simple construction and easy maintenance
- Explosion proof and patented products
Application
Applied in oil safes / operating in hazardous areas
Structure and principle of operation of the system
The GAS-200 includes controllers, explosion-explosive gas probes (in hazardous areas), Isolator where the signal is transmitted to a safe zone, and alarm devices. When O2 gas and other gases are detected by gas probes (electrolynizing sensors), the probes send electrical signals to the controller and then the controller activates the sound and image alarms
