BUMP TEST NEW MSA ALTAIR 4XR GAS DETECTOR

Bump test is a necessary feature for each gas detector. This feature will check that the machine is still working normally or not? Is there a gas detected and does it trigger an alarm? Bump test operation each machine is different but requires standard gas bottles.

Steps to perform Bump test gas detector

• Activate bump test
• Connect to the gas bottle.
• Wait for the machine to show results (can Pass or Failure)

MSA Altair 4XR recommends Bump test once a day before putting it into use.
