The Spectrex 40/40I series of flame alarms, which are infrared spectroscent (IR3) multi-beam fire alarms, detects the flames of fuel or gases at a distance with high noise resistance eliminating most false alarms. The 40/40I IR3 can be detected at a distance of 215ft (65m) with a fire of 1ft2 (0.1 m2) with a sensitivity of less than 5s. 40/40I is the best stable and environmentally resistant fire forecast on the market at the moment. New features include window drying that completely eliminates steam stagnation or freezing, HART two-way communication, low power consumption, compact and lightweight design.
With an affirmation of stability, the warranty period is 5 years and sil2 (TUV) standards approved to IEC 61508.
