From July 1, 2016, vessels must be equipped with working environment measuring equipment or so-called gas detectors and calibration equipment to be able to measure gas in restricted space areas on board while aligning gas detectors on board. So how do ships equip gas detectors?
- The meter can detect 4 gases simultaneously: Explosive gas, O2, CO and H2S
- Explosion-room gas detector
- Gas meter with suction pump, if the suction pump is separate, the suction pump itself must prevent explosion
- The machine is first and periodically calibration according to NSX standard
- The machine is issued with the appropriate certificate.
