Compact Crowcon IRmax fixed gas detector

Crowcon IRmax is an extremely compact infrared (infrared gas probe) detector that can quickly and safely detect gases and hydrocarbon vapors. The IRmax gas detection system offers the choice of just one gas detection device, a gas status display at the site, a remote gas status display, or non-intrusive calibration through an IS calibration instrument, tool, or HART handheld communication connection.

Overview

IRmax’s reliability has been proven in hot, cold, humid, solvent, salt environments, making it ideal for offshore applications.

The special optical composition of IRmax is solved with a high-strength coating that is completely resistant to errors caused by evaporation. Just as IRmax does not include optical surface heating components so the power is significantly reduced, which requires only 1W of energy.

  • Stay-Clir optical component avoids vapor adhesion to optical components

Low cost of ownership
