What is a rapid breathing valve? (also known as High velocity Pressure / Vacuum release valve). When down the line or change in temperature during the journey, the vapor in the cargo tank needs to be escaped through the Pressure door to balance the pressure, avoiding deformation of the cargo tank. When returns or temperatures drop, air is inhaled into the Vaccum door.

The rapid breathing valve discharges out at a speed of >30m / s island to ensure fire safety, fire cannot penetrate the cargo tank at this discharge speed. In addition, the fast discharge ensures a large down-line speed.
